Welcome to Cannock Malayalee Association

Cannock Malayalee Association (CMA) is a non-profit community organization of Malayalees living in Cannock and surrounding areas in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to preserve and promote our rich Kerala culture and traditions, support our community members, and integrate with the wider British society while maintaining our values, identity and unity.

As a community association, our main objective is to promote the welfare and well-being of people of all ages by bringing together individuals and families, regardless of gender, age, disability, nationality, race, religion or political opinion. We strive to advance education, encourage cultural understanding, and provide opportunities for social welfare, recreation and personal development to improve the quality of life for our community.

CMA organizes a variety of cultural events, celebrations and recreational activities throughout the year, including Onam, Vishu, Christmas, and other family events. We encourage our members to participate, volunteer and take leadership roles in our activities, strengthening bonds within the community and creating opportunities for everyone to share their talents and skills.

We provide a platform for Malayalees in Cannock and the surrounding areas to meet, build friendships, exchange ideas, and celebrate our shared cultural heritage. We also encourage the younger generation to learn about and stay connected with the language, traditions and values of Kerala.

Our vision is to build a vibrant, supportive, inclusive and united Malayalee community in Cannock, while creating meaningful connections with the wider British community.
